Discover Mykonos
Mykonos is one of the most popular resorts in Europe (if not the world) since the 1950s. Here the parties last longer than the nights, the beaches are made into dancefloors and new trends kick off to capture the world. But the lush lifestyle and glamorous parties that made Mykonos famous all over the globe are far from its only appeals. For along with the luxurious yachts of the international jet set there still sail traditional fishing boats, the typical architecture of Cyclades is unwavering in its beauty and the many natural bays and gulfs are bathed in the most blissful sunlight.
It is an ancient place of Dionysian worship, where the god of reverie supposedly roamed the land with his mother, the lunar goddess Semeli, right across Delos island – the birthplace of his solar opposite, Apollo.
No wonder Mykonos is still and always will be a land of cosmic convergence where the opposites meet and harmonically coexist.
